Gary McDonald Homes Production Associates
An outstanding athelete at Clovis West High School, Brad Hertel was drafted following graduation by the Texas Rangers baseball team. Electing to further his education first, he attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas on a baseball scholarship. Transferring to Missouri Valley State College, also on a baseball scholarship, he earned a degree in business finance there in June of 2004. Returning to Fresno from Florida where he played minor league basesball, Brad joined Gary McDonald Homes where he has steadily advanced in the construction and land development end of the business. He and his wife, Melany, have two sons and live in Clovis.
Construction superintendent Jon Pacini brings an extensive background in finish caarpentry, home remodeling, and custom homes to his position at Gary McDonald Homes. Prior to joining our team he was the owner/builder of Merit Construction for four years. A Fresno native, Jon has over 25 years in the building industry and a California State Contractors License. When not on the job, he is very active in outdoor pursuits and agriculture. For nine years, he has been a 4-H leader and is currently on the Livestock Committee for the Fresno Fair. Graduation from Madera High School, he lists fishing, camping, gardening and spending time with his family as favorite things to do. Additionally, he’s a great Fresno State sports fan and joined our team in September, 2013.
Assistant Superintendent Wes Pacini became a member of the Gary McDonald Homes’ team in February, 2014. Also a native of Fresno, Wes began learning his trade in the building industry with his dad, Jon, in Merit Construction for five years. Following graduation from Buchanan High School in Clovis, he began as a finish carpenter for Merit. He, too, has a lifelong interest in agriculture having been a 4-H member for nine years in the swine unit. Baseball was also a big part of school years for him from Centruy Elementary, Alta Sierra and into Buchanan. He enjoys the outdoor lfe like the rest of his famly as well as being a college fooball fan.
Will Amador was born and raised in Fresno, Ca. He graduated from Central High School playing football and baseball. He met his wife Lindsey in high school and now they have two children together, Faith who is 3 and Beau who is 6 months. After graduation he moved to Arizona to continue playing baseball at Mesa Community College, there he graduated with an Associate’s in Arts Degree. After completing Community College he received a full scholarship to play for Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. There he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. He joined Gary McDonald Homes in 2016 working side by side with Wes and Jon. He is still very involved in the baseball community with coaching many teams and giving private lessons. His other hobbies include playing with his kids and doing many adventures on the weekends with his family.
Tim Koppi was born and raised in Bakersfield, Ca. He attended and graduated from Centennial High School where he excelled in both academics and football. Aside from football and academics, a large part of Tim’s life was spent traveling across California racing motocross. After graduating he became very committed to the sport and spent the next three years traveling across the country competing at a national level. Serious injuries and surgeries to repair damaged shoulders caused him to redirect his life and begin working on furthering his education. In 2012 Tim was accepted in to the Lyles College of Engineering at California State University Fresno, he took the opportunity to relocate to Fresno and pursue his degree in Civil Engineering. Tim has completed two previous internships in the construction field and he joined Gary McDonald Homes early in 2017. He is currently working to complete the final courses for his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and he plans to combine his education with his construction experience to build a long successful career in the residential construction industry. Tim is very family oriented and enjoys spending time with his four nieces as well as the rest of his immediate family. His hobbies are centered around being outdoors and he loves activities such as snowboarding, camping, fishing and hiking.
Dylan Medeiros was born in Fresno and moved to West Virginia shortly after. Lived there for a year then moved to Texas until 2001. He returned to Clovis and graduated from Buchanan High School. Baseball was a big part of his life as a child and into high school. While in high school he began working in construction on weekends and summers. After graduating he attended community college for 2 years while working as a machinist for 4 years. He also enjoys the great outdoors, camping and fishing. Joined the team at the beginning of 2017.
