Carole Masiello Cavey
Design Center Manager
As the Design Center Manager for Gary McDonald Homes, Carole brings over 30 years experience in the local real estate industry. Carole has worked as a real estate and mortgage broker, she has also been involved in sales management for subdivision and custom home builders, additionally she has been an options coordinator and has further experience in sales, model and floor plan design. Her vast experience in the home-building field gives her a unique and important perspective when working with our clients. Carole has a passion for helping people build their dream home.
Carole is a Fresno native and is married with four adult children and is proud grandmother of five. She is heavily involved in her church and the local community.
One of the most important tasks of new Gary McDonald Homes buyers is selection all the colors, finishes, and design features of their homes. In charge of guiding them through these critical steps is Bonnie Craddock, the Selections Coordinator from our Design team. Although originally from Osceola, IA, Bonnie grew up in the Central Valley and graduated from Mt Whitney High School in Visalia. She also earned her business degree from College of the Sequoias there. Bonnie brings an impressive deisgn resume to the job. Her 35 years of experience includes five years as design manager of McMillin Homes as well as stints with Shapell and Franey’s design centers. In her spare time, Bonnie is a volunteer with the Cancer Society and a tutor with Kid Reach. She also enjoys travelling and knitting “Hats for Hope” for chemo patients.
Brea Higby is a Fresno/Clovis native, graduating from Fresno State with a BA in Interior Design. She has enjoyed teaming up with Gary McDonald Homes since 2008, designing and decorating some of the models along with helping new buyers make selections for their new homes. Her love for design and color is shown in her work. She takes into consideration all the elements of design that help make a space well thought out and balanced.
Brea’s passion is her faith in God and the family she’s been blessed with. She and her husband, Rob spend their free time with their kids and dogs, following them from one soccer field to another.
Colleen has been in the design industry for more than twenty-five years and believes that “listening” to her client is the “key” to helping them “fulfill their dream” of their “perfect” home/living environment. Colleen grew up here in the Central Valley all of her life and graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Fashion Merchandising degree. After working for several years in the retail clothing industry – she decided to turn her talent, expertise and genuine love for color and design towards becoming an Interior Designer. Her vast experience includes assisting her clients with furniture placement, window treatments, home accessories, paint color, tile, plumbing and lighting selections. She has shared her many years of design experience with several companies such as, Breuners Funiture Store, First Impressions (a private design firm) and most recently she was with Ethan Allen for over 6 years. She has a real eye for color and design and her passion to help others exudes as soon as you meet her.
Colleen enjoys traveling, shopping, reading and loves spending time with her family and many friends.
Interior Design Assistant
Edlin was born in Fresno and raised in the Central Valley and Pacific Northwest. She moved back to Fresno to attend university and received a BA in Interior Design from Fresno State.
She enjoys partnering up with clients, designers, and construction during the selection process. She knows that success comes by creating synergy between all departments through communication and understanding. She’s dedicated to the vision and quality of service that is exemplified at Gary McDonald Homes.
Edlin and her husband Jordan enjoy spending time with their families, traveling, and listening to music.
Interior Design Assistant
Lacey Hodge is a Clovis area native, a graduate from Sierra High School. She joined the Gary McDonald design team in 2017. She assists the designers while helping our buyers achieve their dream home. In her free time, Lacey enjoys spending time outdoors with her son, family and friends.
